Phase 1 – Develop
Over 2022, the scope of the stewardship role was developed and guided by the steering committee and community input. From there, the plan was developed, which outlines 16 objectives and 52 initiatives to be implemented over the next decade.
Phase 2 – Assess & Apply
Over the course of 2023, tactical engagement with leadership groups and key partners will be conducted to assess the current state of initiatives, develop key performance metrics to measure progress and success, and identify roles and responsibilities of different groups and leaders in the community.
Phase 3 – Execute & Evaluate
This phase is the long haul and will be ongoing for the next 10 years to implement tactics of the Destination Stewardship Plan. For this phase to be successful, ongoing engagement, collaboration, and partnership is needed throughout the entire community of Jasper.
