Somehow, every year, despite our clear hindsight and knowledge of how calendars work, autumn always seems to sneak up on us.

Every September without fail we'll notice the leaves beginning to litter the trails and remark, "when did September happen?" But once we get over our shock we're reminded that even though fall marks the passing of summer, it also brings with it some of the most jaw-dropping, eye-popping, mind-boggling scenes ever to grace our mountains.

Last year we rounded up some of those scenes. This year we're hungry for another serving. Changing colours, cozy jackets, northern lights, this round-up presents some of the best of autumn.
