We get to see a lot of shared images of Jasper, and we have to say: we are constantly astounded by the photographic talent we see from both locals and visitors alike. So we've started highlighting a few of our favourites every month on our website. To have your photos considered, share them on Instagram and include the hashtags #venturebeyond and #myjasper or tag @tourismjasper.

Here are our top picks from September:

When you see an image like this, how does it make you feel? Do you yearn to wander into the mist? Retreat to a cozy fireplace? Maybe both?

Don't let Catherine Opie dim your shine; long live golden hour!

10/10 would offer to pack the sandwiches in exchange for joining this adventure.

As the days shorten, there's never been a better time to explore Jasper's designated dark sky preserve. Wait we take that back. The best time to explore Jasper's designated dark sky preserve is from October 12-21, during Jasper's Dark Sky Festival!

Oh hey there buddy. Remember, though he looks friendly (does he though?) visitors must keep their distance. Check out Parks Canada's guide to wildlife watching and stay safe!
