The Opal Hills Loop Trail

A more challenging summit adventure, the trail to Opal Peak starts at Maligne Lake behind the historic Curly Philips boathouse and makes it way up through the forest to an alpine meadows. This hike is very steep but during wildflower seasons it is worth the effort and the ocean of mountains viewed from the summit is amazing.
